“Our automatic voltage regulators feed the low voltage AC supply across the windfarm site. It stabilises the voltage to power critical systems such as lighting, heating, SCADA, IT, security and air handling. Our solid-state devices are highly reliable, a factor which makes them attractive to investment sites. It is a critical requirement for them to stay online. To achieve this, we use the latest technologies, software and hardware. We offer a high performance smart device that collects and logs data.”

NEW CHALLENGES

As renewably sourced power continues to supplant fossil fuel-based electricity generation, new challenges will arise surrounding energy storage, integrating power to national grids and systems to cope with peak demand. The company is working with GE to supply stabilisers to the National Grid in the south of England where they are

developing a new method of operating substations. Its voltage regulator will provide stable power to this system.
